Johan Kriek

Johan, his wife Christelle and their 3 beautiful children Stefanie, Christiaan and Karin emigrated from South Africa in June 2004. He graduated in 1986 from the University of Pretoria and did service for 4 years as a dental officer in South Africa's defense force, which entailed further studies towards a Masters Degree in Dental Science and Oral surgery. Johan commenced private practice in 1991 with an emphasis on restorative dentistry, tooth colored fillings and root canal treatments.

With 13 years of private practice experience, in 2004 after obtaining a permanent residential visa and successfully completing the Australian Dental Council exams Johan and his family made the move to Townsville. The whole family enjoys the true North Queensland lifestyle and love escaping the city to venture out by caravan. Johan loves footy and is an active Cowboys fan.

The family aspect of the practice was the magnet that drew Johan and now as the new owners of Dental 206, Johan and Christelle endeavor to live up to their logo “We listen, We care” and look forward to making new friends and serving the community.



Neil Hardy

Neil fully appreciates that being a Hughenden boy enables him to hold the title of a true North Queenslander. Neil graduated from the University of Queensland Dental Faculty during 1972 and immediately commenced in the provision of dental services to North Queenslanders, based in Townsville, with the emphasis on conserving and re-building patients' teeth.

Neil maintains an active professional lifestyle as well as being a husband and parent, being father to four children with his wife Christine, Neil fulfils both roles to the best of his ability. He supports the NBL Crocodiles, WNBL Fire and Townsville ABA basketball teams, attends Cowboys League games, and plays B grade golf.

Neil is committed to modern dentistry and he always strives to provide only the best treatments and service to all his patients.



Angie Nilsson

Angie and her husband moved from the UK to Townsville in 2010 and quickly fell in love with the famous North Queensland hospitality and beautiful surroundings.

Angie graduated with a bachelor of dental surgery from Leeds University, England in 2003 and continued her studies gaining a post graduate certificate in restorative dentistry from the Eastman Dental Institute, England in 2009.

She enjoys being with a family based practice, and welcomes nervous patients with a view to make their dental experience easier. Outside of dentistry Angie spends her weekends scuba diving or having a good Aussie barbeque with friends.



Jodie Arnold

Jodie has been involved in the dental industry for 10 years. At Dental 206 she has worked and experienced all aspects of dentistry from chair side assisting, reception and management.

Jodie has lived in Townsville since beginning her career in 1999. Marrying her long time partner, Reece in 2004, then giving birth to their son in 2007 Jodie has been actively involved in all 3 career paths.

Jodie's spare time involves her first passion of family outings whether they be fishing, camping or taking young Caius to lollipops play land or to the local Apex train riding days.
Jodie is well experienced and keen to serve in her position as practice manager.
